Species number (TNS): 226. Fore wing length: 18–24 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Known from the Top End of the Northern Territory and also the eastern edge of the Kimberley in Western Australia. Adults may be present from October to at least February. Notable localities: Wangi (Litchfield NP). Habitat: Tropical woodlands where it is found in association with wattle trees. Calling song and behaviour: Short repetitive lilting phrases of ~0.5 seconds duration. Males typically sing from the branches of wattles. Similar species: Broad-striped Wattle Cicada, Inland Wattle Cicada, Shrub Wattle Cicada.
