Gunpowder. Adults are present
after rainfall between November
and April.
Notable localities:
Cloncurry.
Habitat:
Open grassland and grassy
woodland.
Calling song and behaviour:
Slow, high-pitched ticking.
Adults sit on grass stems.
Similar species:
Rapid Ticker, Cravens Ticker.
