Species number (TNS): 387. Fore wing length: 18–24 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Inland Australia from north of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory east to Cloncurry and near Georgetown in north- western Queensland. Adults are present (sometimes in large numbers) from December to February. Notable localities: Routh Creek. Habitat: Eucalypt woodland, typically along river systems. Calling song and behaviour: A fluttering call, sung in short bursts. Males call from high up on the upper branches of eucalypts. Similar species: Yellow Tree-buzzer, Eastern River Tree-buzzer.
