Species number (TNS): 387. Fore wing length: 18–24 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Inland Australia from north of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory east to near Georgetown in north Queensland. Adults are present (sometimes in large numbers) from December to February. Notable localities: Dugald River, Leichhardt River. Habitat: Eucalypt woodland, typically along river systems. Calling song and behaviour: A fluttering call, sung in short bursts. Males call from high up on the upper branches of eucalypts. Similar species: Yellow Tree-buzzer, Eastern River Tree-buzzer.
