Species number (TNS): 610. Fore wing length: 31–41 mm. Distribution and seasonality: North-eastern Queensland, from Heathlands (Cape York Peninsula) south to Dinah Creek and near Cooktown. Notable localities: Heathlands (A. Ewart), Coen. Habitat: Tropical eucalypt forest and woodland. Calling song and behaviour: A coarse, continuous buzz. Adults sit high on the main trunks of Eucalyptus tetrodonta. Similar species: Mangrove Drummer, Kimberley Rattle-stripe.
