The Pilbara, Gascoyne and
Murchison River districts of
Western Australia from near
Newman south-west to near
Yalgoo and Paynes Find and
south-east to near Laverton.
Adults have been observed
during February and early March.
Notable localities:
Murchison River.
Habitat:
Populations occur in acacia
scrub and open woodland.
Calling song and behaviour:
A continuous, loud buzz. Adults
sit on the branches of trees and
shrubs.
