Species number (TNS): 631. Fore wing length: 11–14 mm. Distribution and seasonality: The Mitchell Grass Downs of Queensland from Cloncurry south-east to Morven. Adults may be present at any time in summer (late November to February) following rainfall. Notable localities: Barcaldine (A. Ewart). Habitat: Populations occur in open grassland. Calling song and behaviour: A moderate-paced ticking call, with similar structure to Yellow Grass-ticker. Adults sit on grass stems. Similar species: Yellow Grass-ticker, Rapid Grass-ticker, Hamilton Grass- ticker.
