Species number (TNS): 028. Fore wing length: 19–25 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From north of the Barkly Tableland south-east to Alexandria and possibly further south to the Alice Springs district in the Northern Territory. Adults have been observed during January. Notable localities: Alexandria. Habitat: Populations occur in low open woodland. Calling song and behaviour: A buzzing call. Adults sit on the branches of small trees and shrubs where they remain fairly sedentary. Similar species: Small Western Bark Cicada, Small Northern Bark Cicada.
