south to the Alice Springs district
in the Northern Territory. Adults
have been observed during
January.
Notable localities:
Alexandria.
Habitat:
Populations occur in low open
woodland.
Calling song and behaviour:
A buzzing call. Adults sit on the
branches of small trees and
shrubs or grass where they
remain fairly sedentary.
