Species number (TNS): 347. Fore wing length: 13–14 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Occurs throughout the arid zone of central western Queensland. Adults may be present at any time in summer following rainfall. Notable localities: Longreach. Habitat: Populations occur in open grassland, including in association with Buffel Grass. Calling song and behaviour: A very fast ticking call, with similar structure to Yellow Grass- ticker. The call includes a conspicuous rattling component. Adults sit on grass stems. Similar species: Yellow Grass-ticker, Rapid Grass-ticker.
