Species number (TNS): 313. Fore wing length: 11–12 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Central Queensland, from Theodore south to Taroom. Adults have been collected from December to February. Notable localities: Taroom. Habitat: Low scrubland and open grassy woodland. Calling song and behaviour: A soft, high-pitched, grating sound that can be difficult to locate. Males sing during bright sunshine. Adults sit on the stems of small shrubs, including Desert Lime (Citrus glauca), and grasses. Similar species: Eastern Watch-winder.
