Species number (TNS): 270. Fore wing length: 12–14 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From Mount Surprise east to near Herberton in north Queensland. Adults occur during December and January. Notable localities: Mount Surprise. Habitat: Eucalypt woodland. Calling song and behaviour: Sharp chirps emitted at regular intervals with intermittent wing- snapping. Adults sit on the stems of small trees and shrubs. Similar species: Broad-winged Scrub-clicker.
