Populations occur in arid
shrublands, often on floodplains
in association with Weeping
Myall (Acacia pendula).
Calling song and behaviour:
A distinctive clicking call that
includes sections of wing-
snapping. Singing occurs in
bright sunshine. Adults sit on the
stems of small trees and shrubs.
