Adults occur during January.Notable localities: Glen Elgin.Habitat: Open eucalypt forest.Calling song and behaviour: Soft ticking and ratcheting followed by a series of sharp “zzip” sounds. Adults typically sit on the upper branches of tall eucalypts, including stringybarks.Similar species:Sweeping Firetail.
