Species number (TNS): 881. Fore wing length: 19–23 mm. Distribution and seasonality: The southern edge of Western Australia from near Lake King to Moodini Bluff and South-eastern South Australia from near Sherlock (A. Stolarski) to near Port Broughton. Adults occur from November to February. Notable localities: Madura (Simon lab). Habitat: Mallee eucalypt woodland. Calling song and behaviour: Regular buzzing phrases with a rattle- like quality, each increasing in amplitude over a duration of ~3 seconds. Males call from the branches of mallee eucalypts. Similar species: Seismic Squawker, Oven Squawker.
