Species number (TNS): 879. Fore wing length: 19–23 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Restricted to the southern edge of Western Australia from near Lake King to Moodini Bluff. Adults occur from January to early March. Notable localities: near Menzies. Habitat: Mallee eucalypt woodland. Calling song and behaviour: A persistent call with frequent Interchanges between rapid pulsing and buzzing, similar to the call of Large Mallee Squawker. Males call from the branches of mallee eucalypts. Similar species: Lively Squawker, Oven Squawker.
