Formerly known as Arenopsaltria unicolor. Species number (TNS): 015. Fore wing length: 20–29 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Restricted to the Greater Perth region in south-west Western Australia. Notable localities: Maida Vale (D. Emery). Habitat: Low open forest with heath elements. Calling song and behaviour: A strong buzzing call. Adults sit on the stems and in the foliage of low vegetation. Similar species: None; a distinctive species.
