Species number (TNS): 024. Fore wing length: 32–41 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Darnley Island in the Torres Strait and from the vicinity of Iron Range south to Coen on Cape York Peninsula, north Queensland. Also found in Irian Jaya, Papua New Guinea and the Aru Islands. Adults are present from December to July. Notable localities: Claudie River. Habitat: Tropical rainforest. Calling song and behaviour: A course, metallic buzzing call. Adults sit on the main trunk and lower branches of rainforest trees. Similar species: Check genus Tamasa.
