Species number (TNS): 757. Fore wing length: 16–18 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Restricted to the Top End of the Northern Territory from east of Darwin and Katherine to near Roper Bar and south to near Dunmarra. Adults are found during January and February. Notable localities: Kakadu National Park (Simon lab). Habitat: Eucalypt woodland. Calling song and behaviour: Distinct phrases, commencing with a soft stutter followed by a louder buzz, repeated at a rate of one every 2–3 seconds. Males call from high up on the upper branches of eucalypts. Similar species: Northern Red-eyed Squeaker
