Species number (TNS): 862. Fore wing length: 13–16 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Known only from the Mount Isa–Cloncurry region of north- west Queensland. Adults occur during January and February. Notable localities: Slaty Creek, south-west of Cloncurry (A. Ewart). Habitat: Open eucalypt woodland. Calling song and behaviour: A strong chirping and buzzing call, with a sharp, rattle-like quality. Adults sit on grass stems. Similar species: Ornamental Grass-clicker, Far Northern Grass-clicker, Emerald Grass-clicker.
