west Queensland. Adults occur
during January and February.
Notable localities:
Slaty Creek, south-west of
Cloncurry (A. Ewart).
Habitat:
Open eucalypt woodland.
Calling song and behaviour:
A strong chirping and buzzing
call, with a sharp, rattle-like
quality. Adults sit on grass
stems.
