Species number (TNS): 733. Fore wing length: 15–20 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Western Australia from Exmouth east to Hamersley Range and south to Yalgoo. Adults may be present for a short period between September and March (after rainfall). Notable localities: Exmouth (W. Bell) and Yalgoo (P. Hutchinson). Habitat: Low open woodland. Calling song and behaviour: A fairly short note followed immediately by a brief chirp and repeated. Males sing sporadically throughout the day during sunny conditions. Adults sit on the branches and stems of small eucalypts. Similar species: Candy Tiger-squawker.
