Species number (TNS): 014. Fore wing length: 14–18 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From the Murchison River region near Geraldton southeast to near Corrigin in Western Australia. Adults are present from November to January. Notable localities: South-east of Kalbarri. Habitat: Populations occur in tall heathland growing on sandy soils. Calling song and behaviour: A high-pitched, continuous hiss. Adults typically sit on the branches of heath vegetation. Similar species: Eastern Sandgrinder.
