Species number (TNS): 144. Fore wing length: 17–21 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Restricted to a small area between Georgetown and Croydon in north Queensland. Adults are present from January to February. Notable localities: Croydon, Venture Creek. Habitat: Woodland or open woodland dominated by Lancewood (Acacia shirleyi). Calling song and behaviour: A series of double chirps occasionally interrupted by a long buzz. Adults sit on the main trunk or upper branches of Lancewood. Similar species: Northern Brigalow Blackwing.
