Species number (TNS): 036. Fore wing length: 31–37 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Arid areas from east of Shark Bay across the Pilbara of Western Australia and through much of the central Northern Territory and extending to near Mount Isa in north-western Queensland. Notable localities: De Grey River, near Tilmouth Well, near Renner Springs (all Simon lab). Habitat: Acacia scrubland. Calling song and behaviour: A loud, penetrating rattle. Adults sit on the stems of wattles and other small trees and shrubs. Similar species: Rattler (species complex).
