Species number (TNS): 102. Fore wing length: 38–46 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Known principally from higher elevations along the Mount Carbine Tableland. Adults occur from November to December. Notable localities: Mt Lewis, Mt Spurgeon. Habitat: Primary rainforest at elevation. Calling song and behaviour: A loud, rich whine preceded and/or followed by a series of slow purring pulses (repeated at 2–3 second intervals). Adults sit on the upper branches of rainforest trees. Similar species: Clubbed Sage.
