Previously known as Cicadetta labyrinthica. Other name(s): Dune Ticker. Species number (TNS): 239. Fore wing length: 18–22 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Coastal areas from Eyre Peninsula in South Australia east to Wilson Promontory in Victoria. Notable localities: Aldinga Beach, Coorong National Park, Oceans Grove Beach (T. Emery). Habitat: Coastal scrub, mallee and heath. Calling song and behaviour: A strident clicking call, often produced in flight. Adults rest on the stems of trees and shrubs. Similar species: Tick-tock, Esperance Ticker, Northern Sandplain Ticker.
