Previously referred to as Cicadetta bellatrix. Species number (TNS): 236, 241. Fore wing length: 15–17 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Southern Western Australia from Warren River east to Esperance. Adults are present from October to February. Notable localities: Nornalup, Peak Charles National Park. Habitat: Heath on sand plains. Calling song and behaviour: A soft clicking call produced at a fairly slow pace by stationary males. Adults sit on the stems of shrubs. Similar species: Tick-tock, Northern Sandplain Ticker, Southern Coastal Ticker.
