Urana in southern inland New
South Wales and south-west to
Nhill in Victoria. Adults occur
from October to January.
Notable localities:
Nhill (Simon lab), Kewell,
Goolgowi.
Habitat:
Open grassland and grassy
woodland.
Calling song and behaviour:
Pronounced “gleep” phrases,
repeated monotonously. Adults
sit in clumps of grass.
