Previously known as Urabunana festiva. Species number (TNS): 314. Fore wing length: 13–15 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From Hillston south-east to near Urana in southern inland New South Wales and south-west to Nhill in Victoria. Adults occur from October to January. Notable localities: Nhill (Simon lab), Kewell, Goolgowi. Habitat: Open grassland and grassy woodland. Calling song and behaviour: Pronounced “gleep” phrases, repeated monotonously. Adults sit in clumps of grass. Similar species: Apple Grass-zipper.
