Previously known as Urabunana daemeli. Species number (TNS): 320. Fore wing length: 10–13 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From near Taree south to Morton National Park and west to the Blue Mountains in New South Wales. Adults occur from October to February. Notable localities: Blackheath, Royal National Park. Habitat: Open heathland and shrubby woodland. Calling song and behaviour: High-pitched, with a long buzz followed by a chirping sequence. Only astute listeners with good hearing will be capable of detecting this species. Adults sit on the stems of heath shrubs. Similar species: Wallum Heath-buzzer, Top End Heath-buzzer.
