Species number (TNS): 085. Fore wing length: 51–58 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Restricted to the Queensland Wet Tropics region from Mt Misery near Cooktown, Mt Windsor Tableland, Whitfield Range, near Kuranda and upper Davies Creek near Mareeba. Adults have been found in December and January. Notable localities: Upper Davies Creek. Habitat: Populations inhabit ecotones on the margins of rainforest and sclerophyll forest. Calling song and behaviour: A pleasant yodelling call with a slightly hollow tone, closely similar to the call of the more widespread Anapsaltoda pulchra, but with a slightly slower yodel repetition rate. Adults occur high in the middle canopy. Colour variation: Specimens exhibit limited variation in colour. They generally fade from green to yellow-brown after death. Similar species: Golden Emperor, Green Baron.
