York south to Gladstone. Adults
occur from October to March.

Habitat:
Tropical bushland and
woodland.
Calling song and behaviour:
A pronounced, wavering hiss
with short chirps produced
between bouts of continuous
hissing. Adults sit on the stems
of trees (particularly on tea-
trees) and shrubs.
