Adults occur during January and
February.
Notable localities:
Flagstaff Hill (Bowen).
Habitat:
Grassland with scattered trees
and open grassy woodland.
Calling song and behaviour:
A series of long phrases
followed by a short clicking
component. Adults sit on grass
stems.
Similar species:
Far Northern Grass-clicker,
Uluru Grass-clicker.
