Species number (TNS): 161. Fore wing length: 29–37 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Central Australia from Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory east to Urandangi in western Queensland and south to the Musgrave Range in northern South Australia. Also found in Western Australia from Salmon Gums north to Coolgardie and west to Bolgart. Adults occur from December to April. Notable localities: Merredin, Bolgart (Simon lab), Tennant Creek. Habitat: Acacia scrubland. Calling song and behaviour: A thin buzzing phrase, which commences with two metallic clicks. Adults sit on the upper branches and stems of acacias. Similar species: Maroon Clicker.
