Species number (TNS): 680. Fore wing length: 15–17 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Currently known from the outskirts of Darwin south to Litchfield National Park. Adults occur from October to February Habitat: Grassy eucalypt woodland and low open forest. Calling song and behaviour: A simple, repetitive buzzing call. Adults sit on the stems of trees, shrubs and grasses. Similar species: Brown Buzzer, Fishing Reel Buzzer.
