Habitat:
Open forest and woodland,

She-Oaks (Allocasuarina spp.).
Calling song and behaviour:
Short, high frequency, repetitive
chirping. Adults typically sit high
up on the main trunks and
upper branches of She-Oaks.
Similar species:
None; a distinctive cicada.
