Species number (TNS): 040. Fore wing length: 24–29 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Coastal and subcoastal eastern Queensland from Hann River near Laura south to the Lockyer Valley. Adults occur from November to January. Notable localities: Mareeba, Curtis Island, Lake Awoonga, Wuruma Dam, Kingaroy, Esk. Habitat: Open forest and woodland on poor soils in association with box/ironbark eucalypts. Calling song and behaviour: A clean buzz. Adults sit high on the main trunks and upper branches of eucalypts. Similar species: Rattler (species complex).
