Valley. Adults occur from
November to January.
Notable localities:
Mareeba, Curtis Island, Lake
Awoonga, Wuruma Dam,
Kingaroy, Esk.
Habitat:
Open forest and woodland on
poor soils in association with
box/ironbark eucalypts.
Calling song and behaviour:
A clean buzz. Adults sit high on
the main trunks and upper
branches of eucalypts.
