Distribution and seasonality:
Western Australia from near
Guilderton north to near Kalbarri
and east to Cue. Adults have
been observed from December
to February.
Habitat:
Heathland.
Calling song and behaviour:
A continuous, whistle-like,
buzzing call. Adults sit on the
branches of shrubs including
Acacia, Baekea and Dryandra
where they remain fairly
sedentary.
