Species number (TNS): 045. Fore wing length: 14–17 mm. Notable Localties: Cataby Roadhouse, Wongan Hills (both Simon lab), Star Swamp (D. Pike). Distribution and seasonality: Western Australia from near Guilderton north to near Kalbarri and east to Cue. Adults have been observed from December to February. Habitat: Heathland. Calling song and behaviour: A continuous, whistle-like, buzzing call. Adults sit on the branches of shrubs including Acacia, Baekea and Dryandra where they remain fairly sedentary. Similar species: Spinifex Fizzer.
