Adults occur from October to
February.
Notable localities:
Thursday Island (D. Emery),
Weipa.
Habitat:
Open forest, woodland and
margins of rainforest in
association with Blady Grass
(Imperata cylindrica).
Calling song and behaviour:
A loud whistle. Adults sit on
Blady Grass and low shrubs.
