Distribution and seasonality:
The central and inland western
half of Western Australia. Adults
occur sporadically between
October and February.
Habitat:
Acacia scrubland and low
shrubland.
Calling song and behaviour:
Calling commences some hours
after dark. Behaviour indicates
an unusual call and response
pattern, with a loud raspberry-
like buzz, responded with a
series of soft clicks, similar to
Eastern Bent-wing (species
complex).
