Western Bent-winged Clicker Clinata nodicosta (Goding and Froggatt, 1904)

Previously known as Pauropsalta nodicosta. Species number (TNS): 326. Fore wing length: 13–15 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Known only from Cue, Kalgoorlie and Lake Douglas in Western Australia. Adults have been found during January. Notable localities: Lake Douglas (Simon lab), Kalgoorlie. Habitat: Open mallee shrubland. Calling song and behaviour: A clicking call with bouts of wing-snapping. Adults sit on the stems of mallee and shrubs. Similar species: None; a distinctive though poorly known species.
