Distribution and seasonality:
Known only from Cue,
Kalgoorlie and Lake Douglas in
Western Australia. Adults have
been found during January.
Notable localities:
Lake Douglas (Simon lab),
Kalgoorlie.
Habitat:
Open mallee shrubland.
Calling song and behaviour:
A clicking call with bouts of
wing-snapping. Adults sit on the
stems of mallee and shrubs.
Similar species:
None; a distinctive though
poorly known species.
