Species number (TNS): 716. Fore wing length: 18–22 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Restricted to Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory. Adults are present during November and December. Notable localities: Black Mountain, Mount Majura. Habitat: Eucalypt woodland with a shrubby understorey. Calling song and behaviour: Short phrases produced by the rapid emission of a series of ticks; often repeated. Males call whilst stationary and in flight. Adults sit on the main trunks of eucalypts and occasional on power poles. Similar species: Small Bassian Ambertail.
