Species number (TNS): 253. Fore wing length: 21–28 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From the margins of the Great Sandy Desert in north-west Western Australia east through the southern two-thirds of the Northern Territory and far north South Australia to the eastern edge of the Simpson Desert in far western Queensland. Adults occur from November to February. Notable localities: Sandfire Flat (M.S. & B.J. Moulds), Tanami Track (M.S. & B.J. Moulds), Cravens Peak (A. Ewart). Habitat: Low shrubs in open grassy shrublands. Calling song and behaviour: A fast rattle, sung in bouts during the day and prominently at dusk. Similar species: Pale Green Spinifex Rattler.
