Species number (TNS): 871. Fore wing length: 15–19 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Restricted to south-eastern South Australia, from near Tanunda south and west along the eastern margin of Adelaide and the western margin of the Adelaide Hills to near Victor Harbour. Isolated populations also occur at Spring Gully near Penwortham and on Kangaroo Island Adults have been found from October to February. Notable localities: Mount Bold Reservoir, Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park. Habitat: Eucalypts woodlands, often with a heath layer and/or grassy understorey. Calling song and behaviour: Repeated buzzing phrases with an upward inflection. Adults occur mainly on shrubs and on grass, sometimes on trees or dead timber. Similar species: Clare Valley Squeaker, South- western Bark Squeaker. .
