Species number (TNS): 676. Fore wing length: 16–17 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Restricted to the areas of woodland in the north-eastern part of Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory. Occurrences are highly localised, with adults being recorded only during December. Notable localities: Mt Majura, Mt Ainslie. Habitat: Open woodland where adults occur in the foliage of trees and shrubs. Calling song and behaviour: A series of brief buzzing notes, interrupted regularly by a quick “ur-chip” note. Similar species: Bassian Buzzer.
