Species number (TNS): 676. Fore wing length: 16–17 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Restricted to the areas of woodland in the north-eastern part of Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory and and near Mudgee in New South Wales. Occurrences are highly localised, with adults being recorded only during December and January. Notable localities: Mt Majura, Mt Ainslie, Windamere Dam. Habitat: Open woodland where adults occur in the foliage of trees and shrubs. Calling song and behaviour: A series of brief buzzing notes, interrupted regularly by a quick “ur-chip” note. Similar species: Bassian Buzzer.
