Species number (TNS): 507. Fore wing length: 24–26 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Northern Queensland, from Mount Molloy south to Bowen. Adults occur from December to February. Notable localities: Herberton, Paluma. Habitat: Tropical eucalypt forest. Calling song and behaviour: Strident, clipped, double-ticks, emitted mostly whilst in flight. When at rest, adults sit on the main trunks and upper branches of eucalypts. Similar species: None; a distinctive species.
