Species number (TNS): 219. Fore wing length: 19–22 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From near Emerald south to near St George and west to near Adavale in inland Queensland. Adults have been observed during December and January. Notable localities: Brigalow Research Station. Habitat: Found in dry woodland in association with Capparis species or False Sandalwood (Eremophila mitchelli). Calling song and behaviour: A series of chirps, emitted with a distinct pattern of acceleration and deceleration in repetition rate. Adults sit in the foliage of trees and shrubs. Similar species: Enamel Cicada.
