Species number (TNS): 203. Fore wing length: 18–24 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From inland New South Wales between Enngonia and the Mount Hope district north of Hillston west to south-eastern South Australia between Telowie and near Copeville (A. Stolarski). Adults are present during October and November. Notable localities: Mount Hope. Habitat: Dry woodland and shrubland. Calling song and behaviour: A high-pitched, wavering phrase followed by a series of short chirps, then repeated. Adults sit on stems of shrubs and small trees. They will typically fly to another location when approached. Similar species: Western Eremophila Cicada, Southern Eremophila Cicada.
