Species number (TNS): 203. Fore wing length: 18–24 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From inland New South Wales between Enngonia and the Mount Hope district north of Hillston west to southern South Australia between Telowie and near Copeville and west to near Iron Knob (A. Stolarski). Adults are present during October and November. Notable localities: Mount Hope. Habitat: Dry woodland and shrubland. Calling song and behaviour: A high-pitched, wavering phrase followed by a series of short chirps, then repeated. Adults sit on stems of shrubs and small trees. They will typically fly to another location when approached. Similar species: Western Eremophila Cicada, Southern Eremophila Cicada.
