Previously referred to as Abricta willsi. Species number (TNS): 537. Fore wing length: 20–27 mm. Distribution and seasonality: From Gunpowder and Cloncurry in north-western Queensland south-east to near Rockhampton and Theodore in central Queensland and south to Bourke in northern New South Wales. Adults are present from October to March. Notable localities: Springsure, Surat. Habitat: Open woodland and semi-arid shrublands. Calling song and behaviour: A long, high-pitched hiss followed with a series of brief notes in-between bouts of continuous calling. Adults typically sit upside down on the branches and stems of trees and shrubs. Similar species: Brown Bullet, Grass Bullet.
