Species number (TNS): 671. Fore wing length: 11–12 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Known from Alice Springs and surrounding areas in the Northern Territory. Adults have been observed during December. Notable localities: Alice Springs (A. Ewart). Habitat: Arid grassland. Calling song and behaviour: A rapid, repetitive creaking call. Adults sit on grass stems and will take flight at the first sign of disturbance. Colour variation: Green colours in specimens often fade to yellow after death. Similar species: Eastern Watch-winder, Talwood Watch-winder, Cloncurry Watch-winder.
