Species number (TNS): 019. Fore wing length: 42–47 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Found between Cooktown and Cairns in the Wet Tropics bioregion of north Queensland. Adults occur from December to March. Notable localities: Julatten, Kuranda. Habitat: Rainforest and gallery forest. Calling song and behaviour: A series of harsh double-notes that increases in speed and volume to a culmination point before receding. Populations occur in loose aggregations. Adults occur at varying heights on the main trunks of trees. Similar species: McIvor River Grinder.
