Originally described as Parnkalla magna. Species number (TNS): 134. Fore wing length: 21–26 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Central Western Australia from near Menzies north to near Wiluna and west to Cue. Adults occur from January to March. Notable localities: Mount Magnet. Habitat: Arid scrubland and woodland with scattered mallee. Calling song and behaviour: A persistent buzzing call. Adults sit on the stems of woody shrubs. Similar species: None; a distinctive species.
