Previously referred to as Cicadetta latorea. Species number (TNS): 237, 240. Fore wing length: 15–17 mm. Distribution and seasonality: Coastal Western Australia from Kalbarri south to Augusta and east to Albany. Adults are present from October to January. Notable localities: Geraldton, Pemberton (Simon lab). Habitat: Grassy areas, clearings in heath, gardens and shrubbery. Calling song and behaviour: A clicking call, produced at a moderate pace by stationary males. Adults sit on the stems of shrubs and grasses. Similar species: Tick-tock, Esperance Ticker, Southern Coastal Ticker.
